Camp Rock star Demi Lovato: I was treated for bipolar disorder in rehab
Disney teen Demi Lovato opens up about her struggles

Demi Lovato has had a difficult year
Demi Lovato was treated for bipolar disorder during her three-month stay in rehab earlier this year.
The Disney star, 18, says she was diagnosed with manic-depression shortly after checking in to the clinic.
'I never found out until I went into treatment that I was bipolar,' says Demi.
'Looking back it makes sense. There were times when I was so manic, I was writing seven songs in one night and I'd be up until 5.30am in the morning.'
Demi, who says she's 'battled depression from a young age', left rehab in January and has since had the words Stay Strong inked on her wrist.
'I feel like I am in control now where my whole life I wasn't in control,' she tells People.
'What's important for me now is to help others.'
Demi Tweeted yesterday: 'I'm so overwhelmed with all of the support you guys are sending my way.. Unbelievable.. I love each and everyone of you.. Thank you.'
