Will Maria Shriver Spill to Oprah?

Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger's split could be really good news for Oprah Winfrey.

No, we don't think the media queen is celebrating the breakup, but...

If Winfrey plays her cards right, she could end her 25-year talk show reign with what is now the biggest get in the news business?an interview with Maria Shriver.

Winfrey certainly has an in with the former first lady of California. The two have been close friends for decades (they first met in 1978 while working at a local Baltimore television station). Winfrey was even a guest at Shriver and Schwarzenegger's wedding.

If there's anyone who Shriver could trust, it's her old pal Oprah.

In 2003, Shriver masterminded an appearance by Schwarzenegger on Winfrey's show to help repair his image among women voters after his campaign for governor took a hit when it was revealed that he had made misogynistic comments to a magazine almost 30 years before.

Shriver also admitted in a Winfrey interview three years ago that she continues to struggle with her decision to abandon her career in journalism to support her husband's political aspirations

"I was happy being a journalist," she said. "I didn't realize losing my job, my identity went with it.

"I lost myself in the process and I realized how much I had identified myself with Maria Shriver, newswoman," she said. "When that was gone, I had to really sit back and go, 'Well, actually, who am I today?'"

She also revealed that the "lost" feeling caused by her angst still made her cry some days.

But does Winfrey even need a ratings boost for these last couple of weeks of her talk show? Not at all.

OWN, however, could use the help. The four-month-old network has been struggling in the ratings department. If Winfrey is able to snag Shriver for a sit-down (and we believe if anyone can, it's Ms. Winfrey), there's only one place for them to do it?in front of the OWN cameras.

Now we want to hear from you. Would you tune into an interview with Maria Shriver? Sound off below.

Paul McCartney Hollas: Don't Need No Pre-Nup!

He went through financial Hell with Heather Mills, but Paul McCartney is ready to start fresh with Nancy Shevell.

Therefore, despite forking over $50 million to his ex-wife in a nasty, drawn-out divorce settlement, the iconic singer has made it clear to his loved ones: there will be no pre-nuptial agreement with new fiancee Nancy Shevell.

"His friends and business advisers think he's crazy after what happened with his ex, but Paul is insisting Nancy is no Heather," a source tells PopEater. "There's no need to make marriage a business arrangement."

Paul and Nancy

Shevell has quite a lot of money on her own, and she's been dating McCartney for four years. Even insiders that think the pair should sign some kind of document agree they make a "perfect couple."

"This one will last forever," a family friend says. "She is the opposite of Heather and hates the public spotlight, plus she doesn't need his money to live a great life."

Hey, McCartney and The Beatles said it themselves: all you need is love.

Lindsay Is A Bloody Good Poser

lilo230vamp1.jpgliloblood4602.jpgTyler Shields

Lindsay Lohan has been busy with her community service at the Downtown Women's Center in Los Angeles, but despite her court-mandated duty, she has still found the time to strike some provocative and bloody photos for friend and celebrity photographer Tyler Shields.

In the photos, Linds appears to be getting bitten by sexy Vampire Diaries' hunk Michael Trevino.

As for her legal troubles, Lilo is expected to plead no contest to her misdemeanor theft charge tomorrow. The 24-year-old starlet's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, will reportedly show up at the courthouse without her famous client.

See more of Lindsay vamping it up for Mr. Shields ... after the jump.

Brit star Keira Knightley causes hysteria

Keira Knightley was at risk of being crushed by a crowd of fans who turned up to see her at The Daily Show With Jon Stewart yesterday.

The over-zealous autograph hunters pushed down the barriers separating them from the actress, knocking over an old lady in the process.

Considered at risk of being crushed, Keira, 26, was hurried away into a waiting car.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star, who wore a pretty appliqué detail nude dress for her chat show appearance, is in New York promoting new film Last Night.

The Cars' new 'Move': All they can do?

By Brian Mansfield, USA TODAY

After 24 years, the new wave band is back with a solid yet overly familiar collection

By Todd Plitt, USA TODAY

Let's go: Ric Ocasek, left, Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes and David Robinson of The Cars tread familiar ground on Move Like This, their first album in 24 years.

The Cars, Move Like This

* * NEW WAVE NEW AGAIN

Despite a two-decade gap in their discography, the reunited members of The Cars don't sound as if they've missed a beat. On the group's first album since 1987's all-but-forgotten Door to Door, all the factory-standard features of the '80s-model Cars remain in place: the straight-eight new-wave drive, Greg Hawkes' sawtooth synth lines, Ric Ocasek's evocatively tuneless way of singing, even the syncopated handclaps.

But something's missing, and it's not just bassist/co-vocalist Benjamin Orr, who sang Just What I Needed and Drive and died of pancreatic cancer in 2000.

Move Like This has everything that's great about The Cars except the hits: It's like an album that has Moving in Stereo but no My Best Friend's Girl, with It's Not the Night but no Magic. Ultimately, this relaunch evokes the desire to return to the original tunes rather than to play these new ones on repeat. ? Brian Mansfield

From a Woman to a Man: Chaz Bono Opens Up to Oprah

Chaz Bono is opening up about his difficult journey of physically transitioning from a woman to a man in both a new memoir and a series of interviews.

In his book, appropriately titled Transition, and a documentary, Becoming Chaz, he talks about his sexual appetite from hormone injections, for one.

The former Chastity Bono is remarkably forthright on this subject.

Chaz admits he doesn't remember much from childhood, saying "I was just thinking about 'The Sonny and Cher Show' ... not thinking about reality."

The daughter turned son of Sonny and Cher writes about the decision to undergo gender reassignment and the physical and mental pain it entailed.

Here's a clip from his sit-down with Oprah Winfrey yesterday ...

Women Entrepreneurs on the Increase in Holland

More and more women in the Netherlands are becoming entrepreneurs, according to a report from the EIM, an independent Dutch research and consultancy organisation.

This study provides insight into the development of female entrepreneurship. The data comes from various sources. Figures were collected from Statistics Netherlands and the Chamber of Commerce. In addition, a survey was carried out and a group discussion was held with women entrepreneurs.

The figures
In 2000, women made up 25% of startups.  By 2009 this had grown to 35%.

In absolute terms the number of female start-ups increased from about 300,000 to 350,000, which is 32 percent of the total number of entrepreneurs. Thus, one third of Dutch entrepreneurs are women.

Characteristics of female entrepreneurs
Women entrepreneurs are often highly educated and fairly innovative. Half of them work at least 36 hours a week. Most of them run a profitable company, but their average profit is about 60 percent of that of male entrepreneurs. The cause for the lower profit level is perhaps linked with various characterists of female entrepreneurship:

  • Only one quarter of women are the main wage-earner.
  • Being their own boss is of more importance to women than the growth of their business.
  • Women attach great importance to a good balance between work and home.
  • Women are often active in sectors that are less profitable, such as launderettes and hair salons.

Annual turnover
60 percent of female entrepreneurs have a turnover of up to ? 50.000 a year. More than 70 percent have a turnover of less than ? 100.000 and 90 percent remains below the ? 500.000. Six percent have a turnover of more than one million euros

Kristin Cavallari said she will live in Chicago once she and fiancé Jay Cutler tie the knot.

Goodbye California, hello Illinois!

Kristin Cavallari, who rose to reality TV fame on the Orange County-set "Laguna Beach," revealed she plans on moving to the Windy City to live with fiancé Jay Cutler after they wed.

"I will relocate to Chicago," Cavallari told People, adding that she and her beau want "to be together."

Cutler, an Indiana native who is currently the quarterback for the Chicago Bears, spends most of his time in the large city. And Cavallari has said in the past that her mother lives there as well.

"I don't want to be one of those married couples where one person is on the West Coast, and the other is somewhere else," she explained. "I do want some normalcy in my life. I want to be a wife."

And a wife she will be now that Cutler, 28, proposed in Cabo San Lucas last month. Cavallari, 24, told People she knew they would end up engaged eventually.

"I think we both knew from the moment we met that we wanted to marry each other," she said.

They also know their family will consist of more than just the two of them.

"We definitely want kids," Cavallari said. "As far as right away, probably not. But definitely in the next few years."
