Jennifer Lopez might be a new judge on "American Idol," but let's not forget she's also a pop star. For her new club banger, "On the Floor," J.Lo teamed up with Pitbull and red-hot producer RedOne. The producer tells MTV News that for his work with the singer, he thought big. Let's face it: With J.Lo, you have to go big or go home.

"I love J.Lo. I've always been a big fan. She's a true star. They asked me to work with her and I was like, 'Absolutely,' " he explained. "She's one of those that I've always admired. What she's done with the music and film and everything, she's a true artist — a 360 artist.

"It was natural for me to get into the studio with her," he continued. "I'm excited about J.Lo's 'On the Floor.'... It's getting the most incredible reaction. I'm happy for her."

RedOne knew that if he was going to make a smash for the star, there would be several elements involved: dance, parties and her Latina heritage. He hoped to capture it all on the club-ready track, which samples Kaoma's worldwide hit "Lambada," and definitely has a Latin flare.

"She's a dancer. She can sing. I was really amazed, and I had so much fun working with her," he gushed. "Her energy and everything about her is a star, and it was natural for me to do what we did.

"Of course, she's global: She's a global artist," he continued. "She's a global actress, and the music has to be global, and the rhythmic side of it or the Latin and this thing of a dancer [all has to be there].

"She said, 'I want to dance. I want to make people dance and be able to sing with me.' That's what we did, and it feels good. I think we're going to have a big one."

Is Zac Efron Hooking Up with a (Much!) Older Woman?

Could 23-year-old Zac Efron be heating things up with 53-year-old Michelle Pfeiffer?

Maybe so, according to E! Online. But don't too excited: Their possible romance is strictly onscreen!

Efron has confirmed he’ll be joining the star-studded cast of New Year’s Eve, Garry Marshall’s follow up to the 2010 film Valentine’s Day. "I can tell you that all of my scenes are with Michelle Pfeiffer," Efron said. "I’m very excited."

And Pfeiffer, 53, just might be the former teen idol’s love interest in the romantic comedy. "I’m not gonna say (if we kiss)," Efron teased.

Efron’s December 2010 breakup --  and recent rumored reconciliation with actress Vanessa Hudgens -- has brought a lot of attention to the former Disney star’s romantic life. The couple dated for five years after they met on the set of High School Musical.

In addition to Efron and Pfeiffer, New Year’s Eve will also feature appearances from Lea Michele, Sofia Vergara, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel, Robert de Niro and many more. But as for the cougar rumors, we'll have to wait until the movie comes out in December 2011 to see what happens!

Britney Spears' 'Hold It Against Me' Video To Be Directed By Jonas Akerlund

The Lady Gaga vs. Britney Spears battle continues now that Gaga's "Telephone" video director, Jonas Åkerlund, has been tapped to direct Brit's "Hold It Against Me" clip.

"Dance, dance, and more dance," she tweeted Monday about working with the veteran music-video director. "Getting ready to shoot the video for HIAM this week with Jonas Akerlund. Super excited!"

Åkerlund has directed a number of controversial videos over the course of his two-decade career. The Swedish auteur achieved mainstream success when he joined forces with Madonna to direct her video for "Ray of Light" in 1998. The duo reunited in 2000 for "Music," starring then up-and-coming comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, and they courted controversy in 2003 with Madonna's dark "American Life" clip.

He later worked with Madge on "Jump" in 2006 and "Celebration" in 2009. He also directed Madonna in the 2006 documentary "I'm Going to Tell You a Secret," which chronicled Madonna's experiences during her Re-Invention World Tour.

Åkerlund hooked up with Gaga in 2009 for her cinematic "Paparazzi" clip, which starred "True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgård, but the duo stepped up their game in 2010 with Gaga's over-the-top "Telephone" video, which featured a prison break, a mass murder and "Thelma & Louise" undertones.

Prior to working with pop queens like Spears, Gaga and Madonna, Åkerlund made headlines and gained quite a reputation as a provocateur making videos for Moby's "James Bond Theme" and the Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up." Åkerlund's other big videos include Metallica's "Turn the Page," U2's "Walk On," Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" and Pink's "Sober."

While details are scant as to what the "Hold It Against Me" video will look like, it's being reported that the costuming will be done by Falguni & Shane Peacock, who have worked with Katy Perry, Fergie and Cheryl Cole. They will be working on Indian-inspired costumes, according to Brit fan site BreatheHeavy.com.

"Britney's manager contacted us and we exchanged some e-mails with her about style and fashion. We sent sketches of our models to Britney and she chose the ones she liked the most," Falguni told the site. "Britney wanted to experiment with our style. She will be seen wearing a long black dress with pink and red detailing."

In other Spears news, not only should fans be excited for the video, but "Hold It Against Me" producer Dr. Luke also teased fans about the singer's second single. "Britney's 2nd single gonna be fire!!!!!!" he tweeted. "Watch out!!!!!!"

What are you expecting from Britney's new video? Let us know in the comments!

Beyonce Says She Takes Pregnancy Rumors In Stride

'I just hope that one day, when I decide to be pregnant that people are happy for me,' superstar jokes about year-round bump-watch.

In 2010 alone, Beyoncé was pregnant at least twice, if you believe the rumors.

While the singer shot down the talk both times, she says that at this point she's pretty much to used to people speculating about potential baby bumps. "I mean, it's a part of it. At this point they said I've been pregnant like eight times, so I'm kind of used to it," Beyoncé told MTV News at a screening for her concert DVD, "I Am ... World Tour," in New York City.

"I just hope that one day, when I decide to be pregnant that people are happy for me, 'cause I'm like gosh, like, everyone's like, 'Oh god, please! She's been pregnant 100 times.' One day, hopefully, I will be. So whatever; it's a part of being a celebrity, I guess."

Her mom, Tina Knowles, was also at the screening and when asked if she thought that 2011 might be the year we give up gossiping about Bey's pregnancy status, she played it cool. "You have to ask her those personal things," she said. "I don't know!"

But Tina was also the lady to shoot down the baby-bump rumors last month when she sat down with talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres.

"I heard that, but I'm here to clear the rumors up. The truth is it's not Beyoncé that's pregnant, it's me," she joked. "No, it's not true. Not right now. I'm looking forward to it. With all the rumors, by now I should have about five or six grandchildren."

Ashley Tisdale On The Set Of ?High Stakes?

Here's 'High School Musical' star Ashley Tisdale on the set of her new movie, 'High Stakes.' Here's a description of it:
Sharpay and her pet dog, Boi, travel to New York City for a role in a Broadway hit, only to discover the part wasn't what she expected.
From the wardrobe, I'm guessing this is a campy-type of comedy that's meant to appeal to the Disney crowd (and I don't mean that in a snarky way). I'm tempted to see it just for the dog: what a cutie :)Photos by INF Continue reading
