Rebecca Black on 'Friday' backlash: 'It feels like I'm being cyberbullied'

Rebecca Black has taken some emotional hits thanks to negative reviews for her song 'Friday.'

Rebecca Black, the newest YouTube sensation thanks to an abysmally catchy song called "Friday," is feeling the wrath of her new-found fame.

Though "Friday" has rocketed to more than 16 million views within the past week, backlash against the video's campy style and annoying auto-tuning has been just as widespread - and Black is starting to feel the heat.

"Those hurtful comments really shocked me," Black told The Daily Beast. "At times, it feels like I'm being cyberbullied."

The 13-year-old revealed the worst comment she's received thus far on "Good Morning America" Friday.

She said she was told, "I hope you cut yourself, and I hope you get an eating disorder so you'll look pretty."

Though the teen has admitted the hatred coming her way has made her cry, she has refused to pull "Friday" from YouTube.

"I decided not to give the haters the satisfaction that they got me so bad I gave up," Black said.

The song and its video were produced as part of a $2,000 package her mother, Georgina Kelly, bought at a Los Angeles vanity production company for aspiring teen singers called Ark Music Factory.

Contrary to rumors, Black did not write the song's lyrics. When producers gave her the choice of two songs, she picked "Friday" because she felt "like it was [her] personality in that song."

In fact, amid all the negativity, the California native still believes "Friday" is an "accomplishment."

"Even a person that doesn't like it, it's gonna be stuck in their head," Black said. "That's the point of it. It's a catchy song."

Did Ashley Greene get lucky on St. Patrick's Day?

The Twilight star, who just split from boyfriend Joe Jonas, celebrated the holiday with a new man: Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill.

"Good food. Good friends. Great day," Greene, 24, Tweeted, with no specific mention of Followill, 24.

Presumably on a break from filming the latest Twilight installment, Breaking Dawn, Greene, who was rocking green skinny jeans, was spotted at Phebe's Tavern & Grill in N.Y.C. with the Kings of Leon bassist.

The duo were also spotted together Monday night at Avenue nightclub in N.Y.C., where they partied until the wee hours of the morning. "Ashley was smiling all night," says an onlooker. "She and Jared were close the whole night. Dancing, talking, flirting. Was pretty clear they were into each other." They left around at 4 a.m. and headed to her place, according to a source.

Followill was previously linked to Julianne Hough, with whom he cozied up in Nashville in 2009.

NEW YORK - General Mills says it has entered into exclusive negotiations to buy a majority stake in French yogurt company Yoplait.

The binding offer with PAI Partner and Sodiaal, the owners of Yoplait S.A.S., would beat out rivals bidding for the company.

General Mills' offer includes a 50 percent interest and a controlling role in the company, the food company said Friday. It says that discussions are in progress.

Under the proposed transaction, General Mills will team up with Sodiaal in expanding the Yoplait brand and businesses in France, Europe and around the world.

General Mills, based in Minneapolis, has licensed the Yoplait brand since 1977, and is Yoplait's largest licensee.
