Shania Twain's New Series: See a Sneak Peek

Shania Twain started off 2011 with a New Year's Day wedding in Puerto Rico. But before the big day, she suffered her personal hardships in secret, including fallout from an infidelity scandal and an unexpected divorce. She also suffered an insecurity about performing that she wrestled with privately in recent years.

Now, instead of singing about her feelings, she's talking about them. 'Why Not? with Shania Twain,' her new OWN reality series for the Oprah Winfrey Network, captures the Canadian country singer trying to a) describe what was really going on while fans watched her recede from the spotlight, and b) regain her self-confidence.

As seen in the series' new trailer, Twain embarks on plenty of sweaty adventures (skydiving, rock climbing) and gooey self-reflection. And road trips seem to be a theme: the beautiful Grammy winner travels around listening to other people's problems as a way to examine her own issues.

It's not clear whether Twain, 45, is sampling new-age hobbies or just procrastinating a music comeback, as the clip's concert footage keeps reminding us that her public wants their Shania onstage once more. Then again, by letting us in on her reality TV journey, maybe she knows exactly what she's doing; with soul-searching Oprah acting as her behind-the-scenes mentor, that's likely the case.

'Why Not?' premieres May 8; see the new trailer after the jump:

Adrianne Palicki knew she had big boots ? and a super-sexy, skin-tight suit ? to fill when she signed on for NBC's upcoming re-launch of Wonder Woman, an iconic role originated by Lynda Carter in the '70s.

But there's no rivalry. In fact, Carter has nothing but wonderful things to say about the new TV incarnation.

"I think [Palicki] looks fabulous," Carter, 59, tells E! Online. "It's a new look and, jeez, her body looks fantastic."

She adds, "I'm sure there will be people who say she looks better than me and like her better than me ? and that's also fine," she says. "I want this story to be told again. I'm really excited. I can't wait to see it."

But it's a two-way street, and Carter says she hopes people will cut Palicki, 27, some slack.

"I'm very sensitive to the fact that she will be compared," she says. "There's no getting around it."

So will Carter, who's currently gearing up for next month's release of her third album, Crazy Little Things, rock the tiara one more time in a throw-back on the show?

No guarantees, but Carter did say she's been in talks about a possible cameo on the show.

"It's not out of the question," she says. "It would be great." Vignette StoryServer 6.0 Sat Mar 19 18:06:14 2011

It's over for Bradley Cooper and Renée Zellweger.

Cooper, 36, and Zellweger, 41, who met in 2009 and moved in together last fall to become one of Hollywood's most glamorous couples, have broken up, sources tell PEOPLE.

Although the pair never officially confirmed their relationship, they were frequently spotted out together and Cooper has been vocal about his feelings.

"I can't say enough about her," he said in September while promoting the couple's film Case 39. "I just love her. I [loved] coming to work. I love acting with her. I can learn so much from her."

Zellweger even skipped the Golden Globes in January at the last minute to be with Cooper when his father died. She was also close to Cooper's mom, Gloria.

But in February, there was speculation about their relationship when they each attended a pre-Oscar party but didn?t hang out together.

Their reps have no comment.

Jaime Winstone's dream movie

19 March 2011

Jaime Winstone enjoyed playing the titular teen detective in new movie 'Elfie Hopkins' because it was the closest role to herself she has ever had.

Jaime Winstone's latest role was a "dream come true".

The British actress takes on the title role in 'Elfie Hopkins' - which also stars her actor father Ray Winstone - and she found it "nice" playing the teen detective on the quest of uncovering the truth about a family of cannibals because the character is so much like her real self.

She said: "Elfie's been an alter ego of mine for a while now and it's a dream come true to play her.

She is feral and there is a real vulnerability to her. I haven't played someone like this before - but this is probably the nearest person to my real self, which is nice.

Ray - who stars in the film as the village butcher - enjoyed working with his daughter on the movie, but admits it took him a while to get used to the idea of not worrying about her performance.

He said: "Usually I turn up on set and I just worry about what I am going to do.

"But with your own children, you worry more about them and want them to be the best. I had to get over that quickly and let Jaime get on with it."

In-N-Out goin' to Texas

In-N-Out has announce that it will soon relocate to Texas. (In-N-Out)

The Lone Star State is about to go Animal Style. In-N-Out Burger, the beloved West Coast chain famous for its secret menu of burger preparations, is set to open at least eight Texas branches, the Orange County Register reports.

Until now the regional giant, which opened its first branch in 1948 in Baldwin Park, CA, has limited its locations to California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. And even that expansion has been slow - it took the company three years to open just eight restaurants in Utah.

Though Carl Van Fleet, In-N-Out's vice president of planning and development, says the chain may ultimately open units throughout Texas, for now its focus is limited to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, which he told the Register will keep them "plenty busy for the next several years."

In choosing new restaurant locations in the past, In-N-Out has limited its reach to within 500 miles of its Baldwin Park distribution center, which allows the company to deliver fresh 2-ounce patties several times a week. To maintain that quality as it expands, In-N-Out is building a second meat commissary in Texas. "We will be making our own In-N-Out Burger hamburger patties in Texas, fresh for our Texas restaurants," Van Fleet said.

But while Texans need to start brushing up on their In-N-Out lingo, Van Fleet says for now the company

has no plans to open branches further east.
