Ashton Kutcher?s Nikon Shoot

Looking to sell a few cameras, Ashton Kutcher was spotted filming a new commercial for Nikon in Malibu yesterday (April 6).

The ?Butterfly Effect? stud looked hunky as he hammed it up while sporting a springtime fresh white ensemble.

In related news, Ashton?s ex-girlfriend January Jones wasn?t too keen to comment on his past statement that she?d never make it as an actress.

During her chat with Marie Claire UK, Jones said, ?I don?t comment about that. And I?ve never commented about him.?

Meredith Vieira: Who Should Replace Her on Today?

Who would you like to wake up to in the morning?

With Meredith Vieira reportedly considering leaving the Today show when her contract is up in the fall, the obvious next question is: Who should replace her.

Veteran Today anchor Ann Curry seems like a serious contender for the gig. Having been the show's news anchor since 1997, Curry has paid her dues and is a familiar face to viewers. As the host of Dateline NBC and often a fill-in anchor on NBC Nightly News, Curry certainly has the chops for the job.

Two other familiar faces on Today are the wild, fun-loving pair Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb who host the wide-ranging fourth hour of the program. The two women play well off of each other (often fueled by a couple of cocktails) but would Matt Lauer be able to get a word in?

Or could one of Vieira's former co-hosts from The View fill her shoes? Vieira made a successful transition from the morning gab-fest to Today, so perhaps Elisabeth Hasselbeck can do the same. Hasselbeck, who's been on The View since 2003, may draw a younger audience. Plus, a morning show should be a walk in the park compared to her run on Survivor.

Then again, maybe a reality star would spice things up. There would never be a dull moment with The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes on Today. Leakes certainly isn't afraid to speak her mind and has proven she's a force to be reckoned with on this season's The Celebrity Apprentice.

They say you can never go home again, but perhaps Katie Couric would consider coming back to her Today roots. The anchor for CBS Evening News is reportedly considering leaving the newscast. Couric definitely has the pizazz and the chemistry with Today co-anchor Matt Lauer to make mornings shine.

So tell us who should get the job if Vieira leaves:

Villaraigosa signs law limiting building on hillside lots

LAW: Ordinance should end building of oversize mansions on small lots.

Addressing growing complaints over the the construction of massive homes on small lots, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on Wednesday signed into law a measure limiting what can be built on hillside lots.

"All of us who have lived on hillsides appreciate the beauty of it," Villaraigosa said. "But we also saw how a neighborhood could be completely destroyed by a box that was too big for a lot.

"A box that was completely out of step with the neighborhood. These boxes that are so out of character."

The measure, which will take effect in 30 days, places limits on the size of developments on the lots, many of which were laid out more than 50 years ago.

"We still have more to do," said Carol Sidlow of the Bel Air-Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council as well as Lookout Mountain of Laurel Canyon. "We need a measure to protect ridges. We need a new law on retaining walls.

"This is important. As Will Rogers said, this is our land and they aren't making any more of it. If you look at the San Gabriels, you see pristine hillside. If you look at the Hollywood Hills, you see what 25 years of overdevelopment has done."

Councilman Tom LaBonge, who was among a number of officials who first proposed the hillside measure in 2006, said he was pleased to see the final action on the measure.

"We all come from neighborhoods," LaBonge said. "There is nothing more important than protecting our neighborhoods. And we have to stop those who

want to come along and build these boxes that threaten our neighborhoods.

"We have achieved something where we will prevent these big boxes from taking over a neighborhood."

With the measure, the city will be able to determine the maximum development allowed for any property based on its size, zone and steepness of the property.

Also, the city can determine a minimum amount allowed on a property, consider differences in hillside lots and change how it measures the height allowed based on the slope of the property.

Councilman Paul Koretz, who also supported the measure, said the hillsides represent "the last bastion of open space.

"But that same open space has long been under increasing threat as pressure for further development has pushed its way further out and up," Koretz said.

Gerald Silver, president of the Homeowners of Encino, said the new measure addresses a problem that has been years in the making.

"This has been a huge issue for the hillsides," Silver said. "The problem is people were building homes that were too large for the lots and dominated a neighborhood."

The original measures covered the size of buildings allowed on lots in the flatlands as studies continued on the best way to deal with hillsides.

"What this does is make sure that people aren't building homes out of character with a neighborhood," Silver said.

Planning Director Michael LoGrande called the measure a major step forward.

"It will help us protect our hillsides and ensure that development conforms to the land, instead of the land conforming to the development," LoGrande said.

Geri Halliwell doesn't believe in dieting and would rather give into her food cravings than deprive herself of the things she wants.

Geri Halliwell always gives into her food cravings.

The former Spice Girls star - who is known for her fluctuating weight - doesn't mind indulging in sweet treats as she knows ignoring the urges will lead to her eating more.

She said: "I believe in snacking because if I'm too hungry then I'm going to stuff more.

I eat lots of almonds and I have treats like chocolate too. If I try to avoid it, I'll eat five slices of bread and then eat it anyway, so I might as well just have exactly what I really want and then move on.

"I eat lots of almonds and I have treats like chocolate too. If I try to avoid it, I'll eat five slices of bread and then eat it anyway, so I might as well just have exactly what I really want and then move on."

Geri - who has a four-year-old daughter Bluebell from a previous relationship - also claimed she no longer believes in dieting as she thinks her body will always go back to its natural shape, however hard she tries to shed pounds.

She explained to Britain's Glamour magazine: "If I put pressure on myself to suddenly lose weight for a specific day, I'll end up overeating instead.

"So I just eat sensibly and normally. There's no cutting back. Because for me, the body will always spring back to what it wants to be anyway."

    From Kilobytes to Killer Heels

HelenHackwellThree years ago, self-confessed computer geek Helen Hackwell knew as much about fashion as Ugly Betty. Now she is on the verge of revolutionising the industry.

The 27-year-old from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, is the brains behind The ?It? Guide ? a website which 11,000 eager shoppers visit to mimic the latest celebrity looks every month.

It?s been a rollercoaster journey for web design expert Helen, who admitted she couldn?t tell her Primark from her Prada when the site launched in June 2008.

She said: ?I was pretty clueless when it came to fashion. All I was interested in was computers and the internet. I?d been racking my brains for an idea for a new website when I decided I fancied a challenge.

?Most of the people who run fashion websites know a lot about clothes, but not how to be successful online. I knew I could carve out my own niche. But that meant I had to start learning about fashion ? and fast.?

Helen, who runs The ?It? Guide in her spare time, immediately began trawling through magazines and scouring the internet for the latest hot looks worn by famous names from around the globe.

After just a few months, the website was making up to £4,000 a month as fashion fans flocked to buy their idols? clothes, shoes and accessories.

She even attracted praise from industry insiders ? receiving a prestigious nomination for an a4uAward as the best new entrant into the world of affiliate marketing.

Before she knew it, she had a front-row seat at London Fashion Week, was drinking champagne with fashion giants such as Net-A-Porter boss Natalie Massenet and being showered with free goodies from the biggest designers in the business.

Helen said: ?It?s been brilliant. Fashion is now a huge part of my life and I feel great about it. I love the way people can express their personality through the clothes they wear.

?But I?ve only just started. I?m using Facebook and Twitter to bring more people to The ?It? Guide and I want to make it the best place in the world to buy the latest looks.

?I?ve gone from caring about kilobytes to loving my killer heels.?

Will the Royal Wedding Break Guinness World Records?

Will the Royal Wedding Break Guinness World Records?

Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding this month won't just be one for the history books. It could be one for the record books, too.

So which official Guinness World Records do the royal couple have a chance of breaking?

The most obvious record is the size of the TV audience for a wedding, which was set in 1981 by William's parents, Charles and Diana.

But that's just the beginning: below, check out William and Kate's chances at beating this, and several other wedding-related Guinness benchmarks.

Biggest TV audience for a wedding
Some 750 million people in 74 countries tuned in for Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer's nuptials on July 29, 1981. Some observers believe William and Kate's wedding could draw 1 billion viewers; others think it might not even match the 750 million.

Most expensive slice of wedding cake
A piece of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor's 1937 wedding cake sold at Sotheby's in 1998 for $29,900. William and Kate have settled on a multi-tiered, traditional fruitcake baked by Fiona Cairns. Sixty years from now, the leftovers should also be worth a bundle.

    Most searched-for celebrity wedding
Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom's 2009 wedding holds this Internet distinction. They're a power couple, to be sure ? but not with the worldwide appeal of the prince and future princess.

    Longest wedding dress train
Created by Lichel van den Ende in 2009, it measured more than 8,164 ft. ? about a mile and a half. And though Kate's dress is expected to live up to Westminster Abbey's grand aisle, she won't be rolling out a record-breaker here. For royal reference: Diana's wedding train in 1981 was 25 ft. long. Sarah Ferguson's train measured 17 ft. long when she married Prince Andrew in 1986.

    Largest wedding bouquet
The bouquet at a Canadian wedding in 2003 was over 197 ft. long and included some 1,500 flowers. William and Kate likely won't have anything quite that big, but they do plan to leave their floral arrangements at Westminster Abbey for the public to enjoy in the days after the ceremony.

Most crystals on a wedding dress
A Romanian woman sported a snazzy 43,008 crystals on her wedding dress in 2010. Something tells us that Kate will make her formal entrance into the royal family with significantly less bling ? on her dress, anyway. Keep an eye out for a fabulous tiara!
